“Let me preface this review with the fact that I am a MAJOR FOODIE and that our group of 50 professionals is EXTREMELY HARD TO PLEASE. We ate at the Deer Valley Montage the night before our evening with Chef Dalton so our expectations were set high for an epic evening. Chef Dalton came through — and came through brilliantly. He came to our home and prepared, single-handedly, the most perfect, delicious meal we have ever had. From the insane appetizers (bison sliders, kale artichoke dip and cheese board with rare cheeses and amazing fruit we’d never tried), to the precisely perfectly prepared tenderloin, to the insane raspberry, arugula, pecan, goat cheese salad, to the whipped purple potatoes that I’m still dreaming about, to the quinoa stuffed zucchini. Dessert topped off the evening: warm brownies, drizzled with whiskey caramel and vanilla bean ice cream. It was seriously OVER THE TOP and every single guest said that it was the best food that they had ever had. BEST FOOD EVER. TRULY.

You’d think that with food this good, Dalton would have an ego! But he is seriously the nicest, most mellow, easy to work with caterer I have ever worked with. He had a team of three (Missy, Kelly and Chris who were so professional and nice!) who helped with all the set up and the drinks and we didn’t have to lift a finger. The house was set up and put back together entirely by Dalton and his team.

His pricing was reasonable, his attention to detail and calm planning style was so appreciated, and I just can’t recommend him enough. We plan to use Dalton for everything we ever do that requires good food in Park City. He is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! THANK YOU DALTON AND TEAM!”

“Incredible food, excellent service – I wish I could rate Dalton and his team 10 stars!! For my wedding, we had 60 guests stay in a lodge/house for an entire weekend and we hired Dalton to cook breakfast/lunch for all the guests staying in the house as well as to cater the wedding dinner for 90 people. Dalton did a tasting for us in advance and helped us to put together a menu for the weekend. We had everything from an all day drink station (coffee, tea, etc.) to a late-night snack station (fancy popcorn and other treats at midnight) to a wedding dinner of lamb, salmon, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, etc. The food was delicious, in fact our guests continue to comment on how great the food was and how fun it was to peek into the kitchen and watch the chefs at work. I’m from San Francisco and love food, and Dalton’s creations were both delicious and unique. His appetizers ranged from ceviche to baked brie to mini margarita shots. Dalton was a pleasure to work with – from the tasting, to creating menus, to renting flatware, glassware, and other necessary items, to confirming last minute details a week before the event. Not only was Dalton awesome, but his whole staff was friendly, efficient, and well organized. I would hire Dalton again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.”

“What a GREAT set of meals! I was at the Canyons/PCMR with a group of 7 families (30 of us in all) who’ve done an annual ski trip for 20+ years and Chef Dalton cooked two meals for us. Both were OUTSTANDING!

Some of the highlights from the two evenings: a candied bacon & fig chutney baked brie that was out of this world, a perfectly balanced winter citrus salad with a blood orange honey vinaigrette, a beef tenderloin that was perfectly cooked, a warm creamy artichoke kale dip that beat the pants off of any steakhouse dip I’ve had before, and a leek and roasted potato soup with crumbled bacon that I’m craving now that I’m back home.

The portions were over-generous (we happily ate leftovers for lunch for days), and the level of service and professionalism was first class. I would eagerly have Dalton cook for us again, and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone else coming to the area.”

“Dalton recently prepared a rehearsal dinner for 19 followed by a welcome reception of appetizers for almost 100 people. I interviewed several caterers, but Dalton seemed to understand what sort of meal and presentation I hoped to provide my guests. He put me at ease from day one and did not disappoint. The dinner Dalton Campbell prepared was delicious from the salad, vegetables, and rice dish to the delicious sea bass and chicken dish. We were wowed by the tastes. Within a half hour after dinner, Dalton had cleared away the dishes, reset tables and placed delectable appetizers throughout the home. Again, the speed and calmness with which he seamlessly put things together amazed me. Guests enjoyed the appetizers and desserts and praised the arrangement of delicacies. Dalton’s assistant, Jenny-Lee was an added compliment to the evening. She hustled with a smile on her face and was a gracious server, kind to all. Thank you both for making our wedding weekend special.”

“We hired Dalton to cover breakfast and dinner all week for us on our annual “guys trip”. The whole week was incredible!We normally stay at some pretty nice places, and are used to having really great meals. Dalton’s cooking was world-class, and several of the items he prepared were the best we have ever had (the crab cakes, duck, etc). Every night was an incredible experience, starting with killer appetizers and cocktails, then moving on to salads, entrees w/ sides, dessert. After a full day of skiing, last thing you want to do is cook and clean. To just walk in to such an incredible feast was amazing.I can’t recommend Dalton more highly – for either 1 night, or your entire stay.Make sure and order the crab cakes and the ducks. Both were fantastic.”

“Chef Dalton and his team were an incredible addition to our annual company “Winter Adventure”!  We were finally able to enjoy a gourmet meal prepared in front of our guests with the freshest ingredients without the hassle of a restaurant atmosphere.  Our rented luxury home was the perfect setting for dinner with appetizers served as our clients chatted and enjoyed their cocktails-  followed by a seated and table served elegant dinner!  Chef Dalton was a joy to work with and efficient and professional with all we asked him to provide for a special meal for our guests! We will be back in Park City for our 2018 Winter Adventure and we will be working with Park City Elite and Chef Dalton again!”

“Dalton is awesome. I have no words to describe how incredible our dinner was! We started with an amazing charcuterie platter. Fantastic cheeses and meats. Then lobster rolls! Wow!! and we had family from Maine with us and they loved the lobster rolls. Then the grilled peach salad. Wow. We had the grilled bison tenderloin. Incredible – Honestly it was spectacular and with grilled veggies, Bok Choy, asparagus, cauliflower – there aren’t words!! So good.
For dessert – Dalton fixed a flourless chocolate torte with berries. The presentation with all the food was amazing and beautiful.
If you are in Park City – run, don’t walk and get Dalton to cater for you. We are a family of 8 adults and all of us were impressed and awed!”

Chef Dalton is a true professional. We hired him to cook a brunch for 18 girls celebrating a bride for the weekend and it was damn delicious and he was amazing to work with!

Initial contact: It was swift and efficient. His communication was quick and clear (even during the money part which is awesome). He emails he calls he texts — I appreciate that, especially as someone who has been in his shoes. The quote: It was fair and he worked with our budget — the payment process was seamless and not weird.

Now on to the good stuff:

THE FOOD, IT WAS BOMB. Our group of girls had all kinds of needs for this meal. We had a handful of gals who had a very late and wild night and needed to cure their hangover. Dalton’s brunch made them 100%. We had a group who woke up early and went on a hike and were in need of some much needed post-hike fuel. Dalton’s brunch made them 100%.

We had huevos rancheros and chicken apple hash which was topped with eggs COOKED TO ORDER. All cooked perfectly! You heard me. We finished brunch with his special bread pudding and it was the perfect breakfast dessert! Speaking of hungover gals, Dalton brought a fresh watermelon and sliced it up as a sweet pick-me-up for those who needed it — it was such a perfect and surprising start to the meal!

The best part is before I knew it the kitchen was spotless like he was never there and there were loads of delicious leftovers in the fridge.

Wow! What a treat! Dalton came to our house in Park City and cooked up an amazing authentic Mexican meal for a group of twelve. He exceeded my expectations in every way. After skiing all day, we arrived at home to the wonderful aroma of dinner being cooked right in our kitchen. Dalton and his colleague, Chelsea, made a great team. They covered it all — from drinks (Blueberry Mojito Margaritas) to Bananas Foster for dessert. They knew how to get the party started and finished with a sparkling clean kitchen. I highly recommend Park City Elite Chefs. They were fun, professional, energetic, incredibly talented, and a pleasure to have in our home. It was a great night and we will definitely do it again! Thank you, Dalton and Chelsea!
